Thank you so much for taking care of our rowdy table and making us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere so warm and friendly and the staff really make you feel like it's a home away from home. Amazing pub to bring the family, kid and dog-friendly, in a beautiful location. A must-visit if you are in the area.. Thank you Jolly Farmer!
Food, very expensive for what it was, my partner had some fancy named scampi and chips. The chips were obviously oven chips, not triple cooked chips and the scampi was just like you can buy from any supermarket in the freezer aisle. I had the steak pie and mash. The mash potato didn’t seem like freshly mashed and had a funny tangy taste also, the pie wasn’t particularly pleasant and left a horrible taste in my mouth. I couldn’t wait to get home and clean my teeth and gargle with some mouthwash to get rid of the horrible taste he had left in my mouth. Certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anybody 45 quid worth of rubbish
Beautiful surroundings. Decor was classically modern and inviting. Staff members were attentive without being intrusive. We went for a celebratory Sunday lunch. 3 had the beef, 1 had chicken. All delicious. On the whole, puddings were good too - 2 crumble (delicious, good crumble : apple ratio), brownie (delicious, dark, morish) and a lemon meringue tart with raspberry sorbet. Sounded good but was sickly sweet and the pastry was so firm, it was impossibile to cut into. Would definitely return
Food was very good. Tasty and delicious. Service was excellent, Omar had a good manner and tended to all our needs promptly and efficiently. Thanks, excellent roast dinner and the kids loved their Steak and Ale Pie.
Went for a family meal. Two had burger and chips, chips were great. I had Thai green curry, nothing like it! Looked like pea soup! Didn't taste like much. Got charged £10 for a large glass of wine. Wouldn't bother going again, except for a plate of chips.
