The Imperial is a warm and welcoming dining pub in the seaside town of Southport. With a fantastic beer garden to the front and modern, classy décor inside, the Imperial is a great destination to enjoy a meal after a day at the beach, a beer after a round of golf or stop off to watch the football.
The Imperial has a great selection of pub food available seven days a week, serving dishes for those looking for a hearty meal, traditional fish and chips, lighter salad or vegan option. On Saturday and Sunday we also serve from a fantastic breakfast menu available 9am until Midday.
At the bar there’s a fine choice of real ales and craft brews alongside award-winning lagers and a selection of gin and rum cocktails. Teas and coffees are served throughout the day.
As well as showing all the sports action on Sky Sports and BT, the Imperial hosts a weekly quiz night and regular poker nights. You can also book part of the Imperial out for functions and parties.

The food here is reasonable for the price you pay. Always good for a family meal. However we find the service is not great. They always bring the next set of food without clearing away the previous dishes. Kids meal is always missed and the waiters sheet very friendly.
Love it here, they’re so welcoming and staff have always been really pleasant and accommodating. They’re especially patient which is lovely when you have small children or elderly relatives with you. Food is good and well priced as are the drinks. Never had a bad meal here and it’s my go to place when visiting family in Southport.
Great place for lovely pub food, nice atmosphere to sit in a couple or ideal for larger groups. Fast service usually and friendly staff. I do miss the bogof on meals on Monday's though that used to be great. If that was still on I would have given it 5 stars.
Great pub serving really good food, with a number of different and very tasty items on the menu. The staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the bar/eating area. Loved the set up outside with 4 or 5 'beach huts' as well as the usual outdoor seating set up. We will definitely be back for another visit and would highly recommend
Great food and great service, not been here for many years, was very surprised on how busy it was for a regular Tuesday. The pub itself is stunning. Will definitely return in the future!
