Booked to stay here to attend a friend's wedding, the wedding was at 4pm and check in at 3pm. The hotel let me use their toilet to get ready and bent over backwards to get us checked in a little earlier. They did recommend that if attending a wedding, booking the night before is best. The lady on the reception has a fantastic dry sense of humor and is very knowledgeable of the area, she really wants you to enjoy your trip. Our room was lovely, very traditional in decor but it worked for the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, I tried Haggis for the first time and it won't be my last. Had a great stay, thank you :-)

Loved our over night stay en route to lands end from John o groats. The room was excellent, beds comfortable, food was beautiful and hospitality outstanding. Would recommend a visit
Stayed overnight with work and well worth the stay. Linda & Garry are great hosts. Didn't eat in the evening as late arrival but the breakfast was excellent. Room was roomy, everything you need with extras....the coffee machine was a nice touch. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Definitely recommend. Good luck Linda and Garry on your runs.
Fabulous hosts, very helpful in every way, we had the bridal suite, absolutely lovely, comfy bed, tea coffee kettle in ample supply, breakfast was perfect, not over portioned but plenty of it. The room was clean and tidy and very spacious. Overall visit impression is that we will be back, thankyou for having us.
