The food was lovely. But chips and peas were cold.

This place is way past its sell by date. The few staff are over worked and not interested in providing decent service. The food is terrible - there seems to be no passion in the kitchen. I can’t blame them when the majority of the food arrives frozen. Some other things i noticed: -Sticky, stinky urine soaked carpet leading from the gents toilet directly into the restaurant. -Toilets not cleaned. -No hot water or soap in toilets. The whole place needs a rethink.

Went for a family meal here, and the food was relatively nice, if not a little overpriced for what it was. Portion sizes for a burger were small by comparison to a local harvester as an example. Refillable drinks were ordered via the service staff, and not a help yourself service - done this way to avoid excessive cost no doubt. Service staff were pleasant enough, but the wait time for food was far too long, and we had to ask where our food was. The service staff didn't seem at all bothered that other people who arrived later were getting their food before us, and we were told that a bigger party caused the delay. Not good enough imo. I'd hate to think what this place would be like if it were full!? The restaurant itself was a bit tired and dark, which didn't do much to lift the mood we felt for waiting so long for the food. Overall I'd probably not go back here and spend my money elsewhere to be honest. Nice food, but that was about it.

Just come back from a Sunday afternoon. Really lovely place. Food was excellent, really tasty, normal menu to choose from as well as Sunday roast. We ordered from both. Everything was served correctly and lovely and hot. Great value for money. Service at a lovely place, not rushed or waiting too long. Waitress was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. The only negative (only a little one) is my daughter wanted to upgrade her standard chips to halloumi fries and I had to pay full price rather than a subsidiary price. Other than that, nothing. Highly recommend.

Food was really good for this sort of eatery, service was ok... It was rammed when we went this time, screaming, and I mean screaming, kids and we could hardly hear each other so not really a social evening.
