Located in the heart of Battersea, only a short stroll from Clapham Junction tube station, Hawkins Forge is the quirky, unashamedly unique British pub that the locals flock to for the most memorable get-togethers in London. Set in one of the capital’s oldest and most vibrant districts – and near the River Thames, The Fairy House, Wandsworth Common and Clapham Common –we’re the perfect setting for everything from chill catch-ups to up-tempo night outs.
Since we’re already bragging, we have an irresistible fusion of delicious food, a rotating range of craft beers, an explorative cocktail menu, and an open-plan, multi-level layout designed for you to kick back and relax together. As if that weren’t enough, we’ve also got stylish ‘70s-style seating, exposed brickwork, and wall art reminiscent of our history as a blacksmith’s workshop. So, pub quiz, live music, or game of darts next time we see you?.
Me and my daughter walked into the Hawkins Forge hoping to get some hot drinks... not to sure what type of pub to expect. First member of staff had the warmest smile and greeted us with open arms. I then started speaking to Bernie (unaware it was the big boss don Corleone) who offered my daughter a fresh jam doughnut - on the house! Great place, clean, spacious, nice people, great vibes. Will be coming back!
Good selection of beers. The show sport and they have a couple of darts and pool tables which were alot of fun. First come serve basis on the game's so no need to pre book
Great experience. Good food. We were there to watch American football on Sunday night. Bar manager could not have been more accommodating. Would have given 5 stars but sadly the bar had to turn off the American Football at 10pm. Myself and my friends were hugely disappointed at that but understand it’s a licensing issue. Great shame as we would have stayed and bought more to eat and drink.
This pub has an incredible selection of beers and ciders, amongst the best I’ve seen. Just be a little careful if on a budget or wanting to get good bang for your buck as some of the speciality ones were particularly expensive. We got some sharing plates, which hit the spot, and had a good view of the TVs, which were showing live football. We will definitely go again.
Great pub, great for sport - pool table, darts and outside area (not too big though) but private. Advertised as a secret garden ! - worth a visit! - Fridays has live music! Great band last night!
