Stayed here with friends for a Saturday night 😀 we we're made welcome when we arrived and the girls had a lovely lunch 😀 the food is excellent and we all had a lovely evening meal 😀 breakfast was also very good 😃 we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the summer ☀️ just one thing that was a bit of a let down 🥲 the bathroom had not been cleaned 😏 there was hair's in the bath 😙 the taps and bath we're dirty as well as the floor and toilet 🥲 what a shame as this was the only down side 🥲 the staff the food and the room was great 😗 I hope this was a one off as we look forward to stay again 😀
We checked out the Wednesday steak night. It was fabulous! if you like good steak, superbly cooked and well presented, then I couldn't recommend this place more highly. It's a lot of food for 2 people and would probably work better with 3 or 4 people. Wonderful!
We use this pub every night when we have our yearly rally in July.great atmosphere. Great landlord. And very friendly staff.
The pub is nice, the rooms are big and bed is comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast. However I'm giving 4 stars because the toilet in the room wasn't properly cleaned and as a woman I can easily notice that kind of things.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hawkenbury Inn with our dog Barney. The pub truly is dog friendly! Offers very good value for money. Jonathan and Alison are super hosts who run a great pub. Lovely locals too! Home cooked food, a hearty breakfast and spacious, clean accommodation with the benefit of outside space. Beds were very comfortable. Piping hot water and very good pressure. Plenty of parking too for our camper van. A convenient base to explore the Weald of Kent. Definitely recommend staying here.
