About us

Originally a 17th century inn, the Halfway at Kineton is nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Kineton. Located just a few miles from Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Winchcombe. The pub offers a relaxed setting for a lunch or dinner with loved ones as well as a cosy location for an overnight stay in one of the three guest bedrooms.

The pub is a modern country Cotswolds pub that offers classic British dishes that taps into the local supply chain and takes advantage of the plethora of game on their doorstep.

Having taken over the pub in February 2023, Nathan and Liam has seen much success over the past year with high praise from The Times, The Good Food Guide and Conde Nast's best new restaurant 2024.

Went for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. One of the best meals we’ve had in the Cotswolds. Would certainly recommend for anyone looking for a proper meal with some seriously good food.

Had another meal at the halfway today. We turned up with far to many children at their busiest time of year and they could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Rushing the children’s food out as fast as possible. Catering to all allergies and fussiness! Our meals were all delicious and the service is excellent. What a joyful day. Thank you guys. Merry Christmas

Phenomenal food in a beautiful little pub. We had the double baked soufflé and sausage and mash, both were delicious. The staff were really friendly, can’t recommend this as a nice stop off for some dinner enough!

Fantastic Sunday Lunch. Delicious food. Nice cosy pub. Service was a tiny bit slow - but they were busy. Just wish they had better beer...

Amazing Sunday roast here - probably one of the best roasts we have ever had at a pub. Attention to detail to every item on the plate which is rare! The cauliflower cheese was also cheesey and not bland and watery which we seem to find in so many pubs! Also very dog friendly! Honestly a must visit if in the area!
