Our accommodation is very comfortable and all are en-suite except our standard twin room, which has its own private shower room, check in from 4.30pm (unless otherwise arranged ). A delicious menu is available with a wide selection of beers and wines is available at lunchtimes and evenings seven days a week. Dog friendly (well behaved dogs are very welcome in the bar area).
The Half Moon is a Gastro-pub and Hotel situated in the heart of this beautiful and historic village of Ripley, Surrey, very close to Woking and Guildford very easily located just off the M25 at junction 10 off the A3. Ripley boasts a great selection of pubs and coffee shops and restaurants. There is also a beautiful village green and historic cricket club. The Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley are just 1.5 miles away.

Haven't stayed there but eat and drink there on a regular basis. Friendly staff and good food and the clientele are also friendly as well especially if you have a dog!
Great pub with excellent accommodation in a nice village. Just to top it off opposite an equally great curry house
Edit Got here about 5:30 as they opened. Kitchen opens at 6, which is fine. Except staff problem meant a delay. Okay. Reinforcements arrived sometime agte 6:30 so I ordered. Then I waited. And waited. Other people who'd arrived after me were served. I waited. By 7:30 I was ready to give up and go elsewhere but my burger appeared. It was okay, tasty burger, fresh salad, chips were nothing special but they were fine. Overall average quality, slightly above average price, very above average wait. I'll go elsewhere next time. Excellent Sunday roast, good value, good service. Always a nice pub to be in.
Had room 5 which was separate and lovely. Vey clean and comfortable. Free parking out the back by the cricket pitch. Friendly staff, nice food, value for money.
Fantastic visit to eat only. Staff friendly and helpful and had the best ham egg and chips I've had for a long time - good prices and great friendly atmosphere. Closes at 9pm.
