Our first visit and the food was fantastic, Sunday lunch. I absolutely recommend it. Roaring fire and my hubby says great beer too. Can't wait to visit again. Plenty of parking but may be best to book as seems busy. Very reasonable too.
This is a lovely local Devonshire pub. The landlord and lady are wonderful hosts. The village pub is a hub for the local community. They do a lot for the older members of the village. The locals are friendly and welcoming. I have visited on about 4 occasions. My mother has just moved into the village. The food is delicious, and ample proportions .The beer is really good. The prices are very reasonable. There is a lovely log burner to keep you warm. The venue is not flash or pretentious, but it's what I would call a proper pub. I Throughly recommend a visit.
It is an excellent local village pub, with delicious food and steak cooked to perfection. I had to take half the star as my peppercorn sauce tasted like someone made it from powder. Overall, it is a great pub for earning dinner and a good pint of beer.
Small, local pub, almost like home. Local people just pour their own pints. Great selection of ciders. I haven't tried the food yet, as we only pop in for a drink. Owners so nice and friendly!
Great old fashioned proper pub. Friendly atmosphere Great selection of good local ales and the food is top notch. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Sunday lunch 😋 a must
