The Grapes is a pub that celebrates the important things in life. Meeting up with friends and family. The enjoyment of great Guinness. An appreciation of musical heritage. Traditional decor and surroundings and all in the centre of Sheffield.
The Grapes Sheffield is a traditional pub that is independently owned. The Grapes enjoys many original architectural features and has a unique spirit and ambience. The Grapes has been owned by the Flynn family since 2001.
In November 2010 Ann Flynn the owner of The Grapes decided to leave the neighbouring Dog and Partridge after forty years (and three days) to run The Grapes on a full-time basis.
The Grapes was known for live music in the upstairs room during the late nineties and early noughtie’s. The Arctic Monkeys are amongst many great bands that have played in The Grapes.
There is still live music at The Grapes six nights a week…. Now it is played in the Front room and is a little bit less Rock and Roll….

"Great" is a greatly overused term these days, when "good", "nice", "decent" "not bad", "okay", etc should really be used. Eg, "great guy", "great goal," "great pass", "great programme." The Grapes IS a great pub. A little gem of authenticity. Long may it continue to be so. A part of me wants to thank the landlady and the pub's regulars for making this such an oasis. Another part hopes that not too many are swayed by this review, and the Grapes remains an unspoilt treasure. Johnny F.
Super friendly with old fashioned but awesome decor. The lady who runs the place makes the best sandwiches. And you won't get a better Guinness in England. And the border collie is adorable. Bit chilly though, I'd suggest a jumper
This pic isn’t even from this pub but the way my boy is enjoying this pint is the same way we’d enjoyed it here. Class
Lovely traditional pub. From the moment we stepped through the door we received a very warm welcome. The pub had a lovely feel about it, being first-time visitors to the pub you never know what kind of welcome you'll receive. However, we shouldn't have worried because everyone was very welcoming. I would recommend it and will be back. It had the added bonus of some live music on a Saturday afternoon which was an unexpected surprise l.
Fantastic Irish pub behind West Street. Lovely, olde worlde decor with very friendly staff and a real authentic atmosphere. Always like to have a drink here whenever I am in the city. ☆☆☆☆☆
