We didnt eat in there so cant comment on the food but we had drinks in there at around 7pm on a saturday evening. What a perfect pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming people. The barman was fantastic, what a nice guy and great at his job. Its a proper traditional pub, just how I like them. If I was a local this would be MY local for sure. Would 100% visit again if Im ever in the area again.
Great proper pub with a good selection of decent beer. Always a stop off when I am in the area and not driving. 😊

Really nice authentic pub, not many of these left nowadays. Very dog friendly too, will definitely be going back.
Fantastic, times gone by pub. No frills bells and whistles. Just great real ales at a good price. Good company and very dog friendly.
