Great pub that does quality food and drinks. The staff are really friendly and are more than happy to help with anything and there's a wicked happy atmosphere too. Quality all round 👍🏻
Recently reopened Very friendly people Nice atmosphere I went to see some live music which was great
In today's social climate of never ending coffee shops, it's a welcome change to go to a traditional pub. Let's face it, there aren't many left in the UK that haven't been turned into all you can eat buffets. So I'm letting all who crave a good British pub know, there are still some places to go where men and women can go for a chat and a pint. Bring back the British pub!
We went here with friends and it was delicious! Gourmet meets traditional Sunday Pub Grub! Dogs are welcome which is fantastic for those who wander around the stunning countryside that The Golden Lion nestles in. Plenty of parking and amazing food and drinks are on offer but I would strongly suggest booking on weekends and at busier times.
Love this pub, love the vibe and the outside live music venue, great pub food too. Friendly staff all of the time
