The staff were lovely, had full breakfast for only £6.50 per person and a lot of choices. We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist and everything was easy to sort out, they’re very organised and we didn’t have to wait at all when we arrived.
Good hotel in a great location for the motorway and local attractions. In spite of being a wedding hotel, they still catered for us very well for dinner and full cooked breakfast. The bedrooms are in need of a little maintenance and improvement but are large enough, comfortable and quiet.
Handy for breaking our journey. Easy access to our dog friendly room on the ground floor, straight from the spacious car park. Management very attentive. Decent restaurant choice and breakfast quality. Good value!
Just spent 2 nights here to meet long lost family for a vow renewal onsite, and genuinely have no complaints in the slightest. Rooms were neat and clean, breakfast was lovely, the workers saw to every request we had, the prices were better than expected drinks-wise. Only a 15 min wander along the main road to the outlets in what seems like a nice area. It’s a beautiful well kept building, staff were friendly and had a good laugh with us. it was just a great experience all round for our big group, really was the perfect venue for the occasion, i will be back. Thanks to all the staff x
We had a family room which was good as the bedrooms was separate but in the same suite. Main room needed a bit of decorating but was all clean and tidy. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Excellent choice for breakfast. Lovely quiet area in Gretna. The grounds was well kept and lovely to sit out. We walked to the blacksmith wedding venue which took 30 minutes. Taxi service in the area was not to good, but walk was ok.
