What more could you want from a local - decent food, comfy chairs and a great quiz! Even though I've lived in the area for almost 4 years, it was the first night I've spent at Childers and couldn't recommend it more!
Had the 8oz steak with the salad, was spot on, salad was tasty, steak was cooked just how I asked, just don't expect miller and Carter steak! However no where near Miller and Carter prices, the burgers are superb and the price is a winner to, guineas draught was probably the best I've had in a long time, would highly recommend 😀 dropped a star due to the lack of music in the seating area
Consistently good food, very reasonably priced with lovely staff and a large beer garden. Dogs are welcome in the garden. Food only served until 8pm (not 9 like most similar establishments) so take care to ensure you order in good time as they stop taking orders at 8pm on the dot.
Loved it here. Spacious garden perfect for a drink in the nice weather. Food is nice as well.
Having working away a lot we eat out a lot and I would go as far as to say that It was one of the best burgers I've eaten the ultimate spicy beef burger and beer is a absolute must. Thank you.
