The Elsinore Inn is a small, intimate and traditional pub in Whitby, North Yorkshire.
Walk through the door and you’ll be greeted with the charming atmosphere of the original pub of the goths in Whitby – a town famous for its connections with Count Dracula!
The pub retains its character, despite recently benefiting from a full refurbishment, and we have plenty of draught beers, lagers and quality cask ales on offer, as well as regular quiz nights and live music.
Your hosts Andrew and Mandy can’t wait to welcome customers old and new (and any four-legged friends) to their pub at the heart of the Whitby community.

Excellent pint of Wainwrights. Friendly staff and landlord. Dog friendly. No dogs or children after 8pm which i think is fair enough.
Great little pub. Staff really friendly. Great drinks and a good price. Had a great time on boxing day.
We had the best night!! They made us feel so welcome ( we’re from down sarf) 😂 bar staff were the best! Such great sense of humour! Land lady Mandy was the greatest host EVER!! Karl was the absolute best entertainer we’ve seen! He doesn’t realise how good he actually is. We didn’t want the night to end! Thank you for making our weekend away special! I came here a few times during my short stay in whitby. The atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a chat with several people in here. The bar staff were amazing with recommendations and very easy to chat to.
They don't serve food but the lager and cider on draught were so delicious I had 6 pints 😳 I really enjoyed the atmosphere, there were loads of lovely people to chat to. The bar staff worked hard ensuring you were served promptly and they were great fun and excellent at what they do. We will return.. .
