This holiday park is lovely and my review of the park is in no way related to this establishment. One lady serving food in my opinion had a good customer service skills and we thank her for her hospitality. Everything else needs to be looked at training received by staff in customer service and hospitality would be a great start . This place could be fantastic. Food I’m sorry but it’s some of the worst food I’ve had in ages, I recommend you give it a miss . But don’t be put of the holiday park it’s lovely had good customer service and plenty of good points. Plenty of good places to eat in local area . Ok for a drink.
Low quality, microwave food. This pub used to have really high quality fresh food when Bowland Park was an independent holiday park, not anymore. Now Park Resorts have taken over, they have copied the 'seaside' holiday park format, high priced, low quality microwave food..works fine in Blackpool, but it will fail here
Lovely friendly staff, nicely done out pub. Food was poor being largely microwaved/frozen food. Beer decent. They have a captive market from the caravan site. We'd eat elsewhere next time but come back for beers.
Gold mine for the taking! Crazy this pub is not open for breakfasts, and only lunches on weekends. And even when open don’t gamble on the full menu being available - we went on a Thursday night to be told they were only doing light bites (sandwiches and jackets) and it was a jam packed half term week! It’s all frozen food to. The park should franchise it out to a proper landlord/lady who could make a fortune if run properly
Lovely pub, decorated to high standard, just a bit disappointed with the food, taste good but lack of things available, no tartar sauce or lemon with scampi, salad with my jacket was bland and all lettuce. Just improve on food and it would be wonderful. Staff very friendly.
