No room inside so we sat outside, there was sick all over the floor and one of the tables which multiple members of staff saw as they were coming and going but nobody took it upon themselves to clean it up. We would have stayed longer but made a sharp exit.
Food is always lovely, nice pub grub served by friendly staff, and a really nice atmosphere. A special shout out for the impromptu halloween disco complete with disco lights and spooky party tunes… You absolutely saved the day when the event we planned to attend was cancelled at short notice. Showed up with two soggy kiddos just to thaw out and have a bottle of pop and packet of crisps (vital resources for calming a 7year old Incredible Hulk “hulk smash” tantrum) and the landlord leapt into action - you guys saved Halloween!
Popped in for a bite to eat and wasn't disappointed. Excellent food and great portions. I had the cowboy burger and my wife had the hunters chicken. Both enjoyed very much.
Lovely food and lovely staff
What can I say! we called in for a meal when passing and had the rump steak, our first choice of steak and ale pie being unavailable. It was an absolute first class meal, steak cooked to perfection, well cooked accompaniments and a yummy chocolate mint dome to finish. The steak melted in the mouth and everything was very tasty and well prepared. We will definitely visit again in future. Compliments to the chef and the friendly bar and wait staff, great atmosphere, lovely food.
