Quant, old country accommodation. Nice cozy bar and room. Incredibly comfortable bed. The highlight is definitely the delicious food. Can't believe how great someone can make white onion soup, chicken thighs and perogi. I'm of Polish descent and they were the best I've ever had. Staff as nice and friendly as can be. Will be going back.
The staff could not be more accommodating, and the food is delicious. Extremely helpful for us (and we were difficult!) - big group, with lunch at 4pm. Not ideal for them but fantastic. Thank you.
Had a festive menu meal here. It was amazing! The soup was fantastic and the halibut just as good. Highly recommend
I stayed here overnight early November with my mom. We also had dinner and the included breakfast. The food was delicious, with a nice seasonal menu. Room and bed are very comfy, beautiful bathroom. The setting is a small town that is really just a couple roads, and is beautiful and almost magical. Tawny owls hoot it at night, and the neighbor's horse was out greeting people in the morning. It was perfectly what we were hoping for in the countryside.
This pub is truly a hidden gem. In the past 3 months we have stayed at 8 pubs in the Cotswolds. The Crown is simply the best. The room was perfect. Superb bathroom and every accessory imaginable available. Staff are amazing, professional and welcoming. And as for the restaurant? It is first class. Breakfasts and dinners for 2 nights were brilliant. Absolutely scrumptious. Will definitely go back.
