The Crown has a large room doubling as lounge and bar, together with a separate dining area. Two open fires add a touch of winter comfort.
This is the last remaining pub of the three that used to be in Minsterley. Referred to as the BBC crawl (Bath, Bridge & Crown), all three were grouped around the traffic island. However this ended with the closure of the Bath Arms in 2000, the Bridge closed a few years later. Whilst Minsterley's pubs may be disappearing, it's comforting to know that the Victorian pissoir is a Listed Building and is still there.
As relative newcomers to the area, the Crown and Sceptre Inn has been great for providing local advice and information. This family run establishment has made us feel really welcome. They are all amazing and the food is great too.
Great visit. Was on holiday and joined the quiz night then went back on the Sunday and had a great carvery lunch. We were made very welcome. Recommended a visit when in the area. Landlady and staff were great.
Was able to find a quiet area to eat, main bar area was a bit noisy until a group left. Fish & chips was OK, but I've had better gammon steaks. Dog friendly.
Best quality Sunday dinner today i have had proper home cooked , beef was beautifully cooked , atmosphere great and friendly, highly recommend will certainly be returning to this place.👌
Recent makeover is fabulous. Very friendly staff and had a lovely meal here on the weekend.

To get to the Mytton Arms, there is no alternative other than negotiating the narrow lanes of South Shropshire, although the summer Shropshire Hills Shuttle bus could help!
