Had a great lunch , last minute decision on our way to visit a friend , saw pub was open and found the staff very accommodating, food was excellent and fairly priced , would definitely recommend but probably best to book just in case .we'll done Redgrave .
We had a mid week lunch here, we arrived at noon when it opened so it was quiet, it got busier as time went on, seemed a mix of locals and visitors. The three meals were all great, cooked to order and the service fantastic. A good range of food, wine and beers on offer. A lovely pub and well worth a visit for a drink and food. Highly recommended.
Beautiful Sunday roast finished off with the best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had!
We went for a Sunday roast & this was our 2nd visit. The meal was much better this time, plates were warm, roast potatoes nice & crisp, meats were great & Yorkshire puddings nice & fluffy. The reasons for the 4 stars are: 1. 1 half a roast carrot & parsnip was meagre, especially when additional veg - I.e. cauliflower cheese at an additional cost (should be included if only 1/2 carrot/parsnip. Staff are very friendly, and there is lots of gravy provided on request @ no additional cost 😉. A lovely pub & restaurant, atmosphere in the restaurant was OK, not buzzing. We would certainly recommend & will visit again to support this business.
Lovely Sunday lunch in the garden. So well looked after my the team- especially Ruby! Sunday lunch x3 and one salad prepared especially. Good atmosphere inside. Good choice of beer. Lovely location- thank you!
