We can offer an excellent selection of real ales, a good choice of wines and a good range of tasty snacks are available. The pub is popular with locals and visitors alike, and has a sporty feel to it, as it has three teams attached to it: a rugby team, a
Hosts, Donna and Andy Moon, have been in charge of the Cross Keys for over 10 years and have built on the solid reputation the pub had for its great atmosphere, its great drink and its filling snacks. Benefiting from a recent refurbishment, the exterior is very attractive, and well-proportioned, and has colourful hanging baskets that add to its overall attractiveness. The interior is equally as attractive and is everything a good English pub should be.
We are open every session from Monday to Thursday (though it is closed at Monday lunchtime except on Bank Holidays), and open all day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
We serves four real ales: Bath Gem, Sharps Doom Bar, Marston’s Pedigree and a rotating guest ale, plus a good range of beers, lagers, cider, spirits, wines and soft drinks should you be driving. Snack food is available, in the form of, pizza’s, pork pies with pickles or jumbo sausauge rolls.
There is a quiz every other Wednesday and everyone is welcome (ring for details). There is plenty of outdoor seating in the courtyard (including smoking shelter) and ample parking spaces. Close by is the Castle Donington Race Circuit and East Midlands Airport.

Was shocking rude bar service. Spoke shockingly to a young group of men
Good beers and nice atmosphere and always friendly . Dogs welcome as well still very good
Friendly local pub. Excellent beers, wood fire.
Such a great pub. Full of character, absolutely cracking beers (the HPA is rare to find on tap around here and they keep it very well) and friendly staff. Way too many pubs have become sterile environments full of TVs on every wall, but this place has become our starting and ending point for a few beers around Dono. Completely skip the Castle Inn to come here before the bus home.
I really enjoyed this pub, it has managed to keep character in the age where so many have had to reform and adapt. The landlady was friendly and the range of beers, lagers, gins etc was large. The toilets were impeccably clean and they have a large outdoor back yard which was covered by a well lit gazebo. I will definitely visit again when I'm back in the area.
