A pleasant surprise! I've not been here for quite a while and it has vastly improved since my last visit. The service was friendly, welcoming, I'd go so far to say fun and banter full! The food was excellently presented and it tasted good too. I will be back.
What a wonderful welcome received by front of house. The food was simply lovely fantastic quality home made food, full of flavour (sorry it was eaten before I could photograph them) Our waitress Bibi was amazing happy, friendly and quite funny, attending to all our needs. 5 of the party had the Sunday lunch, the 2 children had the large children’s scampi and chips, chicken nuggets and chips. The whole party enjoyed there meals. Would 100% recommend to eat here. Oh and it’s gluten and dog friendly what’s not to love.
Great food and attentive staff. Nice variety on the menu and a range of local drinks on tap. Friendly atmosphere inside, food and drink served quickly and tasted fantastic.
Had a Sunday roast at the Pub with my wife. It was our first time visiting and we were very impressed. Drinks came quickly, and staff were helpful. The roast came out very quickly, we really enjoyed it, everything on the plate was tasty and not over cooked. Added to that some super tasty gravy we were happy. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Amazing Sunday lunch Lovely little quaint country pub. Great experience from start to finish, seated quickly, drink and food order was taken in good time. Sunday lunch was a very good size and the Yorkshire puddings were huge. Meat, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings arrived on the plate, then the vegetables are served in separate bowls, we had cabbage, swede, carrots and cauliflower cheese, along with extra gravy. There is a choice of beef, pork or chicken, along with a vegetarian option. Great choice of puddings also. All the staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. We booked in advance and I would definitely recommend doing this, as it was very busy and the only tables that were available were the benches outside. Definitely recommend coming here for Sunday lunch, if you are staying in or around the area. Huge outdoor space, with under cover booths and pub tables. Small children's play park, along with a small area, with goats, chickens and cockerels. Plenty of parking around the back.
