We arrived early in the day, so it was relatively quiet. The barman was a nice chap, friendly enough. We didn't buy food but will have to try some next time. Inside, the building was very nice. This place is cashless.
As a dark beer lover I was disappointed that out of 28 beers there was just 1 porter available. 12 of the beers were sour in one form or another. It's hardly a good split of beer styles. The fridge contents were not much better. This place is also a cigar store. The smokers sat outside, but the smoke certainly wafted in and filled the bar. We also had to walk out past the smell too.
Big fan of this place. It's in a basement down a granite street by the bus station and has a huge range of beer available, but the big draw is the whisky range which is massive. Staff know a lot about the drink on offer which is always nice to see and are friendly. There's a whisky list on their website to look at as there's no printed one. They also do cigars if that's your thing!
Really nice little bar in the centre of Aberdeen. Plenty of different craft beers on sale. The bar itself is a nice size and has a good atmosphere. Service is friendly and knowledgeable
Brilliant bar. Loads of awesome ales. Hundreds of awesome whiskys and brilliant staff. If you smoke they also have what a dedicated temperature controlled and dehumidified cigar room.
