Decent burger, friendly and helpful staff. Mid week and fairly busy. I went to the comedy club they have upstairs. All in all a great evening, yes I would go again.
I did not eat at this place, thus making it impossible to leave a review on that part. But I was strolling through Camden, trying to find a cozy place to have a few cider or beer! I found this place, ordered a cider and was served in a good way, as you would expect. I ended up spending a few hours here, and I felt really good. The prices are fine, service was good and it had a great vibe. I would gladly come back next time I'm in Camden.
Really loved the food here, especially how they served the burgers in a closed glass container like the rose in beauty at the beast. When you open it all the steam comes out, it's quite a site and really not your every day pub food. The sides were huge and tasted incredible. I recommend the onion rings.
I like to enjoy a smoked Burger with a local Pale Ale in this place everytime I visit London. Sweet potato fries are very good and their onion rings are just fabulous.
A good old boozer, a bit shabby chic and a bit worn on the corners but honest and welcoming. The beer tastes good, although not one for the real ale drinkers. Everything is on keg. Still a solid street corner pub sporting a central island bar. A pleasant oasis from the turmoil of busy streetlife.
