About us

The Bull's Head is a thriving traditional wet-led pub right at the heart of its community in Whetstone, Leicestershire. It's a popular spot for residents and those from the surrounding areas what have adopted it as their local.

We are very sad to be saying goodbye to Jayne and Eddie as they retire after 23 fantastic years at the Bull’s Head. They have created a solid business and a fantastic pub that the locals are proud of. Jayne and Eddie describe the pub as the hub of the community with a large diverse customer base already in place.

The Bull's Head is a good-sized pub with a traditional two-room layout. Jayne and Eddie have taken great pride in the pub, it's been well-kept and is clean and tidy throughout. The main bar is equip with a pool table, dartboard and screens showing the latest games, while the cozy lounge offers a more relaxed atmosphere. Both areas are served by the central bar.

The pub derives a great deal of trade from its support of traditional pub games and has numerous teams, including darts, pool, dominoes and skittles teams. The Skittle Alley is in a separate building at the rear of the pub. Outside, there is a well-maintained garden with a patio and lawn.

This is a pub that is well-used by its community for all occasions and hosts many functions.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a solid pub business which still has room to grow and put your mark on. This is a cracking pub anytime of day. Landlord & landlady are just lovely. Food most days. With a good skittles alley for use & hire. We are rehearsing a band in there too! Everyone is just great. We will be playing there too by way of a thank you one day very soon! We may also be doing a 65th private party yet to be confirmed. Brilliant pub! Great staff! Well, we just love the place.
