Highgate's local brew pub. Serving our own beers brewed on site, with other great craft beers from the UK and around the world. Oh, and we do good food too!
We are proud to have resurrected this neglected building
to create a great public house for the enjoyment of the local community.
Through the experience of owner Dan Fox, and his carefully constructed team, we have created a pub where you can meet friends, eat with your family or come for a quiet pint, whilst experiencing uncompromising standards of service, food and drinks.
Also, because we genuinely believe the heart of a great pub is amazing beer, we’ve installed small microbrewery in the pub.

Popped up there for early Saturday lunch. It's got outside terraces front and back. With stunning views looking down Highgate Hill. Inside, you have comfy seating and tables. There is upstairs dining, too. Which is very fancy. It's a beautiful historic building. Pints around 7 quid. Wine around 10 quid. Food is lush. Big delishous portions. Service excellent. Dominic looked after us.
Really delicious food and great size portions! Really nicely decorated and clean pub to! I had the burrata to start which was perfectly paired with tomatoes, short rib for main which was juicy and soft & to finish a SCRUMPTIOUS sticky toffee pudding! Really great and lovely staff
Really enjoyed the fish and chips 🍟 and the Grilled Meunière. Both came with a lemon 🍋 wedge and it’s just such fresh fish flesh to enjoy in summer. The potato 🥔 wedges of the fish and chips is as good as the other reviewer mentioned. The highlight really was the grilled meunière. It was so fresh that only complete bones were left on my plate. After a tour in Kenwood House, this truly was a pleasant lunch. The white wine Sauvignon bland Loire France was pretty good 👍🏻, crisp and fresh. I ordered a coke. The total for two people were 62.04 pounds. Waiters were helpful and active in serving us.
Overall good experience. Great service and tasty food (even if a bit pricey at times). I would definitely recommend the chicken roast and the mushroom toast.
After searching for a location which does Sunday Lunch (all afternoon…) I came across The Bull. They had some late availability at 6pm - perfect. The pictures looked great online, so we gave them a try. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. They had a wide selection of drinks/largers-anything you want. All the waiters were very friendly, (despite it being late in the afternoon and had already - I’m sure - been serving for the best part of 6 hours!) The roast was sensational!!! Beautifully cooked and with a generous portion… (everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if anyone says it wasn’t large enough or ‘not as large as before’ probably needs to reconsider their portion sizes generally….!) It was spot on! The taste was incredible and it was all hot. Couldn’t have received better. The deserts were equally as stunning! Delicious and reasonably priced. All round a fantastic experience!! Will definitely return!
