Located just a stone's throw from Hampstead Heath in leafy north west London, The Bull & Last is an historic pub housed in a 19th century coaching inn. Founded by directors Freddie Fleming, Ollie Pudney and Joe Swiers back in 2008, the pub has been run by
The downstairs bar area is a laid back rustic space that welcomes diners and drinkers alike, with various independent real ales available on our hand-pulls and bar snacks on offer throughout the day. We allow dogs in the bar area and can even provide marrow bones and pig's ear for four-legged friends if they deserve a treat. The dining room upstairs offers a more restaurant-style environment and is lovely for romantic meals and family gatherings. Highchairs are available for younger children on both floors. All in all, there is lots on offer and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
We look forward to welcoming you and your dog (four-legged friends are allowed downstairs in the pub area, but not in the upstairs dining room) soon!.

Racists! Very bad experience, the “manager” declined to sit us, as soon as he saw us and heard the accent, regardless the many available tables. A second later the waitress said it’s fine for us to sit. We ordered drinks and as soon as we ordered the food ( £80 for a rib roast for 2) they told us this would take 45minutes and we can not order it and only wanted to serve what was left on the menu to get us out as soon as possible. The waitress was actually nice but the manager was pretty rude, impolite and had attitude. Very bad service.
A 15min walk from the Tufnell tube station , the pub is a small, cozy place that offers delicious food. Not too many vegetarian options but yet enough to not let you change your mind but definitely not a good place for vegans. The place offers accommodation as well but we haven't used this service. In terms of food, the oyster mushrooms look really appealing and the chicken sandwich is a must. Highly recommend
Service was absolutely excellent - the staff are fantastic! Wine list and cocktails also very good. Food was good, though the beetroot salad was disappointing for the price (and contained potatoes?!). Other than that we loved our lunch here.
Excellent service. Hugely overpriced average pub grub. Lovely atmosphere but £100 for a pint, 3 glasses of 175 and most importantly two very average mains, albeit in a nice setting. Well served, but not imaginative. All food should be 20% less or 30% better. Very good head waiter.
Had a Christmas lunch here as part of a large party of 18. We were in a beautifully decorated room upstairs and the catering was brilliant from start to finish. Very tasty food. Excellent consideration of dietary needs. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Highly recommend.

This is the pub we think everyone should want at the end of their street. Great beer, tasty wine, proper food and quality music played on seriously good Hi-Fi.
