Very enjoyable and great food. Hosts were friendly and shared stories about the local culture. Recommend!
My friend and I plus one dog ended up at Maybole on Saturday 8th October 2022. We didn't want anywhere too packed out as wanted a quiet drink and some nibbles and we decided to try the Bistro. My friend went in to ask if we were ok to go in and sit by the fire - we weren't exactly dressed for a Saturday night out, but the gentleman who owned the place really couldn't have been more welcoming! We ended up sat by a lovely open fire with a nice glass of wine each - we then decided we wanted some nibbles. What we wanted wasn't on the menu but the owner was so happy to put something together for us and accommodate me as a vegan too, it was great. Cannot recommend highly enough supporting this local business. Would be lovely to go back again. Thank you.
Cannot praise this ace highly enough. Lis and Ian are the perfect hosts and always make you feel very welcome. It has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Love the autumn/winter months with the fire burning. Absolute wee gem in the town.
Having recently visited for dinner as a group of 15 we all agreed what a fantastic evening it was, from the initial phone call with Liz through to the fantastic meal we cannot fault our evening with Liz, Iain and their staff(sorry didn't catch your names Ladies). Lovely little local Restaurant and bar which I would highly recommend.
Lovely little find. Great decor and service. We had 3 courses home made soup perfect, roast beef delicious, pudding perfect. Great pinot unfortunately the beer wasn't Good, don't think they sell enough. But will not stop us going back with friends.
