A nice, cosy, and historic pub with friendly staff. The non-alcoholic gin cocktail and a Bloody Mary were good. Our starters were tasty, crispy prawns and a delightful cheese soufflé. My venison suet pudding was delicious, with a great sauce. However. My wife's burger wasn't anything special, with a lack of seasoning and slightly dry. The cost was reasonable for what we had.
Really nice pub! Great choice on the menu, and the food we had was great! Good choice of ales on tap, the Ludlow Blonde was particularly good. Well worth a visit if you're in the area... oh! And dog friendly too!
We were recommended this pub by Bob at the Ludlow Brewery and it exceeded our expectations. The ambience, food, and friendly staff made this pub a real gem. Highly recommended and we will be back when in the area.
We were on holiday staying in the village. We tried the Boot Inn for a drink and the staff and other customers were so welcoming. We booked Sunday lunch and lunch in the week and the food was amazing. We ended up going there quite a few times as they were so lovely and made our dog Flo so welcome too. We would definitely revisit if we were in the area again.
Setting within the village is perfect. Extremely cosy inside and ambiance is perfect. Very good quality food. Fresh, tasty and flavourful. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Not inexpensive but l wouldn't expect it to be. Certainly worth the cost.
