Absolutely love this place! The staff are absolutely fantastic! They are welcoming and extremely polite and obliging. Food never fails to impress (although really should try something other than the steak and ale pie) 🤣 the puddings are superb too 👌 the ambiance is amazing too. It’s a large pub but still maintains its warmth and atmosphere. We have been several times and there will be many more! Thank you to all at The Bluebird Inn - you are a remarkable team!! ❤️
We've been wanting to take our friends for lunch here for some time, as they do an excellent cheese pie. We went today 8th January and it didn't disappoint. This is a lovely pub, nice decor, friendly staff and most importantly a fantastic menu. Proper winter-warming dishes, good sized portions, served hot and well presented. Hospitality is having a tough time since covid and post-christmas it can be even more of a struggle for places like this. Which is why I can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back and our friends are planning on bringing other friends to sample more of this brilliant food.
My wife and I used this Inn as an overnight stop over to break up a much longer journey, we were so glad we did. The place is lovely and as a bonus was very nicely decorated for the Christmas holidays. Staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was really good.
Been quite a few times, and always good. Roaring fire, the food is excellent and well priced i have the cheese pie which is perfect, tasty and the pastry is spot on. I would recommend a visit, staff welcoming and friendly . Just a nice place to eat and relax.
Fabulous place, serving the most delicious food and really pleasant staff that are so welcoming. We returned twice in a week, and the lovely lady waiting on remembered us. We asked if we could sit in the same place next to the fire and were told beforehand that the fire wasn't lit but as we sat there, the nice man from the bar came and lit it for us, how nice! We'll definitely return if we're in the area again, so please don't change a thing xx

NEWLY REFURBISHED! Cosy, friendly, country pub in the Ribble Valley. Fab food, great beer, beautiful beer garden & a snooker table too!

A former 17th-century coaching inn with lots of character and charisma. Big-hearted with some sloping floors, twisty staircases and low ceilings to keep you on your toes. And at the centre of it all, a crackling fire that warms the heart and soul .
