Two roomed pub; bar and lounge with TVs in each. Live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday (please search Facebook for dates & more information). Situated by Trench Pool with beer garden which has toy cars & scooters and other toys for the youngsters. Outside smoking area which is not covered or heated.
A Grade II listed building easily seen from Queensway, but difficult to find because the access road passes through an housing estate with no signposts to the pub. Nearest bus stop is at Trench Motor Auctions about 10 minutes walk.
Great wee pub! The Guinness is fantastic, would highly recommend it. The landlady is very friendly and helpful and always has a smile. Will definitely be back. 10 out of 10.
Just popped in to the blue pig for a quick pint on Sunday lovely proper drinkers pub and in the summer they have events in the beer garden great landlady nice friendly locals me and my girlfriend will def go back

This place had been amazing to be at! I got to meet the best bar lady ever, she was lovely, happy, helpful and no matter the query… she was there. Organised the best events and all the family enjoyed it! Would strongly recommend d this place!
A lovely, friendly pub, situated by a lake. We'd popped in for a meal, but sadly they no longer serve food. The staff member and a customer kindly recommended the Dun Cow down the road. They have a good selection of beers and are dog friendly.
