About us

The Blind Tiger was started as we wanted to create a bar that played good music to good people with a fun atmosphere.

The Blind Tiger was started on 25th February 2005 in Bury. We champion good music and have always put on live acts when we can, Jam nights on Wednesdays for the customers to play and local bands every bank holiday, the famous “Glaston-Bury” was also started at The Blind Tige

The Blind Tiger in Bolton was opened on 2nd August 2012 and soon Developed into Bolton's No. 1 Live music venue. We’re bringing live music every week from bands and acoustic acts. We host some of the greatest Indie/Rock Dj's from the UK who entertain our huge crowds on Friday and Saturdays until late!

The Blind Tiger family took over the Artisan in Rawtenstall in October 2017, the already established Music venue which has hosted a number of top bands from the UK willc arry on the Blind tiger Ethos of great music, great people.

We aren’t just about the music and atmosphere but also very important to us is the DRINKS!

We have a great range of drinks, the standard offerings, but also world beers from over 10 different countries, Brooklyn Larger and Hop House 13 on tap, Brewdog, Caledonian Craft Beer range in bottles upto 10 different ciders and a wide selection of unusual gins, malts, rums, vodkas and bourbons which definitely should be sampled.

We also serve cocktails, bombs and shooters and our very own shooter, famous in Bury - The Dick Kicker – warning as the name describes!.

I wish I could put minus stars it's the worst place I've ever been too, I saw rats in the actual bar, the staff were rude and arogent took me 37 minutes to get served and when the larger eventually arvived it was warm and flat and the entrance is a deathtrap and don't get me started on the state of the toilets it felt like transporting # worst toilets in bury

Went into blind tiger on a works leaving do. They decided by eye that a co worker was over the influence, even though he hadn’t had a drink. No conversation, no discussion, just a girl behind the bar making her personal decision. Even the bouncer agreed the guy wasn’t over the influence and was no reason to be thrown out. Ruined the night for 10 people. Spoke to a manager, who was rude and abrasive. All of us work within retail, and hold personal licences and know that he decisions made by managers tonight were based on personal views rather than legal issues. This is not the first time issues have occurred with staff here. They seem to take personal issues with customers out as reasons to refuse service. Disgrace.Absolutely would not recommend and will be following up on this matter.

Warming welcome staff always gave your drink ready for when you walk in. Only problem this place has too warm in summer no cooling down well done. Grag and his team is good. Will visit soon when they open again. Parking is not easy at this location so best is to use bus or taxi.

A little dark but friendly people as well as staff. Toilet smell of bleach what a bonus! Cosy little place. Love the interior and the beams.
