A Grade II-listed, timber-framed, 17th-century village pub, formerly three cottages, situated in rolling downland countryside near to the Pilgrims Way. It has a cosy bar with original brick floor, and is warmed in winter by an inglenook log fire. A local beer is often available, alongside beers from across the UK.
Food served Friday and Saturday evenings in the candlelit restaurant. Reservations required.
Fresh fish menu board always available.
NO Vegetarian food. Dogs are allowed in the bar. NO children under 14 in bar or restaurant.
Historic Interest
The pub is a traditional timber oak framed building constructed during the seventeenth century.
