You always get a warm welcome when you walk through the doors to the Black Cock Inn; from the locals as well as staff.
The food is always good and reasonably priced so this is the perfect stop for lunch or dinner during your stay. The popular curry night is also worth a try as well as the traditional roast on Sunday.

The best seafood platter I’ve eaten at a pub, the staff were an absolute delight (the landlady was especially amazing), very reasonable prices and a very cute atmosphere with a Welsh setting.
Absolutely delightful landlord. Rang up to see if we could pop down for dinner with 3 adults and 3 children. He saved us a table and when we got lost on the way and rang he gave helpful directions! Lovely food and varied menu. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere.
Super host! Excellent home cooked food and amazing choice of spirits behind the bar. Will definitely be returning later this year when we visit Brecon again!
