We look forward to welcoming you and all of our friends and regulars!.
Nice little pub a short walk from Twyford Station and just for a change probably had a bigger beer garden than the inside of the pub - with a play area for children. The staff were quite pleasant but the Guinness wasn't quite right (it was a bit quiet so maybe just been sitting in the line for a while) and the Brakspear Oxford Gold was excellent
Nice little pub, friendly staff, might feel like a clicky local type if you don't say hello to random people. I do. Bar staff are both all smiles with good looks. Garden is massive. Dog friendly too which is mark of a proper pub.
Love coming down with my son on a Saturday lunch time - great atmosphere and the staff are great and accommodating with my 6 year old making him feel at home - lovely to see the play area having a makeover and the bouncy castle! Some of the smaller pub lunch items from the Thai are great too 👌
A proper english, rustic country pub in a beautiful old wooden beamed building with a large pub garden out the back which leads into another big garden with a swings and slides etc for the children ! Nice relaxed atmosphere and mix of different types of people. And most importantly a good selection of nice dogs to say hello to! 🤩🤩🤩 We went here to watch the Lions Match and they have screens up everywhere for people who are interested in it. Very easy to see the screens if you are watching sport. The wooden beams, wooden floor and wooden everything inside makes you feel instantly at home and comfortable in a proper country pub. The building is lovely and the outside area is big and very fun. After 4 when foood stops being served you can get food from the turkish van next to the pub, and they allow you to bring it in the pub.
Lovely place - staff are friendly, the locally-sourced ales are tasty, and the garden out the back is splendid on a bright sunny day!

Located to west of the village, the Waggon combines a good mix of country pub ambience (flagstone floor, low wooden beamed ceiling, big garden with an aviary and Wendy house) and a modern outlook.

This 19th century pub is is very close to Twyford Station and is beer led (no food served)! As a London Irish Rugby affiliated pub and supporter of Twyford & Ruscombe Cricket Club, it has strong sports sympathies.
