The Bell feels like home to me. There's really good beer, great cider and amazing locals. It's family and dog friendly. There's darts, the occasional band, fun quizzes and lovely staff. The outdoor seating is a great place to relax during the summer. Paul loves what he does and he always puts a smile on my face. I'm an American that keeps returning to the Bell because they make me feel like one of the family.
Happy to call this our local even though we don't live here. Lovely warm, friendly atmosphere and the locals are a joy
Nice place, made to feel welcome by bar staff and customers.
Great nights, semi-horrible hangovers. What an atmosphere and a lovely tidy place. My imaginary wife and I refer to it as "the delightful shiny Bell".
Very clean now. Better atmosphere since the new Landlord and the drinks quality is a lot higher. Landlady needs a better attitude towards customers, especially locals!
