A classic village pub – crafted in Smalley.
Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Company.
We ( 6)went early evening, for a celebration meal. We're not local but had good meals before. We were included in the locals conversations and made to feel really welcome from the staff as well.
Had lunch here on a Monday so it was a bit quiet but the food was excellent and would certainly go back . Plenty of choice on the menu and all homemade . You need to book especially if a large party as not many tables.
Lovely tasty food (delicious avocado and salmon flat bread) and relaxed atmosphere!
Good place for family lunch or dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and the prices are right for the quality and quantity
We visited The Bell on a day out to Derbyshire, what a nice pub. When we first walked in the atmosphere was basically that of a country pub, very nice indeed. We were extremely pleased with our meals and the staff were extremely kind and friendly. One small issue though is the chair that I was on was extremely shaky and could really do with tightening up 🙃. Anyway, my partner and I would highly recommend The Bell to anyone looking for an extremely nice meal at a reasonable price. Peter and Joanne...
