Remember gentlemen, it's not just France we are fighting for, it's Champagne! ~ Winston Churchill, WWI
Hay's Galleria has many unique features that make it one of London’s most memorable venues. A pétanque pitch, an outdoor terrace and a maze of bars and private dining rooms. Situated around the corner from London Bridge station the venue is spread across a beautiful downstairs haven that provides a large restaurant and bar alongside an upstairs terrace.
We were a group of 22 ladies meeting up for the first time following our breast cancer journeys. The staff were amazing! We had brilliant service and food. Special thanks to Denise and Esther for everything, all the ladies had a wonderful afternoon 🥰
A large basement restaurant and bar - we visited in run up to Christmas - we were a party of 10. Friendly welcome - comfortable seats - good choice on menu - reasonable prices for London - quick service - and when 'encouraged' to vacate table ( next party had arrived and we had been there for allocated time) this was done tactfully with an offer of a glass of proceso for each of our party in the bar - so no issue. So all in all a decent venue - and given it was very busy for Christmas one cam assume it would be even better during quieter times. Well done Alexander Hay.
The fish was good, but just a few peas and the sauce scarce. The Burger good. We ordered soon. But it took a líneas time to bronce the food, more tan an hour. The pub was not crowded so there was no reason or explanation from the staff.
Upon arrival, we received no hello or welcome from the girl behind the bar. When asking about the lunch menu, she seemed like I was annoying her. We then ordered food and waited for a while and then received a raw chicken burger. Very unhygienic. The gentleman behind the bar was very apologetic and refunded us for our food. However, due to the awful experience with the food I would not recommend this pub.
We had fun in this buzzing atmosphere. Nice bright terrace. It was pretty busy when we arrived just hoping to get a table on the terrace. Shortly we got accommodated by a very entertaining waiter with blonde curly hair and super funky glasses/ sunglasses. Ordered a few round of drinks and have a few bites that arrived pretty quickly even the place was full. Great service and fabulous atmosphere.
