First time in the Angel..what a lovely pub..made me and my dogs welcome and the staff and customers were brilliant..Great pint..highly recommended 😀
Called in on a wet and horrible Dec night. Open fire was a welcome sight. Food started at 6pm. Two spicy chicken burgers with one chips to share. All the food was fresh and tasty. Chicken tender in a soft brioche bun with lovely coleslaw and salad. Home cooked chips were lush.. £12 + for the two..(Dec 2023)
Couldn't open the front door easily which set my anxiety off as felt customers were staring. The lady behind the bar was lovely though. Had to sit outside as felt uncomfortable...dogs barking at ours and no one controlling them.
The service is second to none they pull all the stops out to make sure you are happy with the service very reasonable priced ( best of all really good whit dogs a must in are case give it a go )
