The Alma has been at the heart of the Crystal Palace triangle for many years. Built in 1854, it is now a well established part of the south London & Crystal Palace eating & drinking scene. We're a relaxed and friendly pub with an amazing outside space, great reputation for quality service, food, craft beer, ales & wines.
Tucked away behind us is our huge beer garden, partially shaded in the summer and fully covered & heated in the winter.
We are passionate about pubs, people, food, wine & craft beer & we feel The Alma reflects this.

What a fantastic lunch we have just had. Perhaps the best roast pork I have ever had. And the vegetarian haggis was delicious. Roasted cauliflower starter was five star. Well thought out wine list and a great selection of beers on tap.
Great pub and food. Really love the crispy cauliflower starter and the chicken and corn main that were on when we visited. Good beers on tap too. All round a real gem.
Love this place, been a while since we last went there. Still lovely, great vibe nice outdoor space. Good portions and delicious food!
We've absolutely loved it. It was pretty late at night, and all other places in Crystal Palace Triangle were closing. We were famished. What a surprise it was then that Alma served us such great quality food at that late hour. The service surpasses the quality of the food - we've felt incredibly welcome! Thank you!
Atmosphere 10/10 - very relaxed interior with an open fire. Service 10/10 - attentive, friendly and informative. Food sadly 5/10. We had the cod and the mushroom pasta and were disappointed. The texture and flavour profile of the food we ordered didn’t work for me. Perhaps the meat options are better considered.
