Very warm welcome from both staff and regulars. As a pub stop subscriber, we parked here overnight. Had a lovely meal. Locals were all lovely!
Lovely meal and very friendly atmosphere. Been here a few times and will certainly keep coming when in the area. I went for the meat and Guinnes pie.
Very convivial, pleasant atmosphere and friendly landlord. Pub grub well prepared and cooked, very reasonably priced, what more could one want?
Not been here for many years, we were visiting friends in the area so decided to see if we could get a table so called up and was told yes no problem. Service was very good greeted by name, ordered drinks sat down told what Sunday lunch was available, ordered it and it arrived with in 10 minutes, cooked beautifully all fresh vegetables. Won't leave it so long next time 🥰
Gorgeous home cooked fresh to order food. Lovely location. Super friendly and accommodating. Spoilt for choice on the menu which is really reasonably priced. Only 17 miles from home (by bike) but feels like we’re on holiday. We’ll be back!

Popular local situated in the middle of the village with a rustic locals bar on the left and the restaurant on the right. The landlords are keen to promote real ale and will be reintroducing food again in the near future.
